Asics Tiger opens new concept store in Seoul

Japanese footwear company Asics has unveiled a brand new concept store on Garosugil Road in Seoul’s Sinsa-dong area for its contemporary lifestyle brand Asics Tiger.

This is the second Asics Tiger standalone concept store to open worldwide following another site in Osaka, Japan. The new store conveys a high-class atmosphere through marble shoe walls and shiny white centre tables, while simultaneously expressing street elements like mortar walls and guard rails. 

A graphic wall gives a raw, urban element to the interior, while a straight yellow accent line on the ceiling expresses the innovation and freedom of a brand that seeks to break the mould.

Relaunched in 2015 as a platform for streetwear shoes inspired by the brand’s vintage designs of the 1970s to 1990s, Asics Tiger is the lifestyle expression of the company’s performance brand. The shoes combine Japanese sports technology and global street style to deliver comfort and design.
