Avon releases entrepreneurship-focused podcast series

Social-selling cosmetics company Avon announced on Monday the launch of its first podcast series, "Make it Happen: Powered by Avon", which will feature discussions aimed at entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. 

The podcast will be hosted by Avon Executive Director of Sales Development Evy deAngelis and guests will include Avon representatives and industry insiders, who will share insights and opinions on getting ahead as an entrepreneur. 

Confirmed guests include beauty influencer Lara Eurdolian and Scott Kramer, CEO of social-selling agency Multibrain. 

Two episodes of the series are currently available: "Shifting Your Mindset: Thinking Like a Boss" and "Turning Feeds into Leads: Leveraging the Power of Social Media to Promote Your Business." The first features beauty business bosses and Avon representatives Donna Reid-Mitchell, Orenthia Ricketts and Linda Montavon discussing their personal paths into leadership positions, while the second is led by Scott Kramer, who presents strategies for making the most out of social media as a company. 

"Avon was the first social selling company to help entrepreneurs to 'make it happen', and we wanted to give our representatives and other trailblazers a platform to spotlight their own journeys," said deAngelis in a release. "We are thrilled to share their motivating, candid stories of achieving success on their own terms."

New episodes of the "Make it Happen: Powered by Avon" podcast will air every Monday at noon EST. Episodes will be approximately 30 minutes long and will be released on Avon's website as well as on iTunes.
