Blossom Première Vision show grows in size at new Paris venue

Blossom Première Vision, the Parisian trade show dedicated to fabrics, leather and accessories for the luxury labels’ pre-collections has left the Palais Brongniart venue and will stage its next edition, scheduled for July 4-5, at the Carreau du Temple, hosting 111 exhibitors compared to just over 90 last year.

The show was formerly held at the Palais Brongniart in Paris - Blossom PV

The event’s fourth edition will focus on the Autumn/Winter 2019-20 collections, and it will feature 24 new names. Altogether, there will be 73 fabric manufacturers, 16 of them new entries, specialising in lace, knitwear, high-tech fabrics, silk and fabric printing. The leather industry will be represented by 30 exhibitors, five of them new, whose products range from calfskin to lambskin, goatskin and exotic hides. Eight companies, three of them new to the event, will instead showcase their accessories range.

As for the nationalities represented, like at the parent event Première Vision Paris, the show’s largest quota of participants will hail from Italy, with 63 exhibitors, while 28 will come from France. Other countries represented are the UK, Spain, Portugal and Austria.

For the second time in its history, Blossom PV will present a shared colour palette for fabrics, leather and accessories. It will also feature a leather goods manufacturing atelier, operated by Bison Cuir, to showcase the industry's exclusive expertise.

At the end of the event’s first day, visitors and exhibitors are invited to a private visit of the Margiela/Galliera (1989-2009) retrospective exhibition, tracing the work by Martin Margiela at the Palais Galliera in Paris, followed by a cocktail party.
