CEO change at Oasis and Warehouse as Evans quits, COO steps up

Published

Oasis and Warehouse Group CEO Liz Evans is leaving the company after five years at the helm and will be replaced by current COO Hash Ladha. He has been named CEO Designate with immediate effect and will take the top job when Evans leaves next year.

Director Johann Petur Reyndal thanked Evans for her “outstanding contribution in leading Oasis and Warehouse” and said she will exit the business “having delivered an Oasis brand that has achieved award-winning results over a number of years and a Warehouse brand that is reinvigorated and back to profitability.”

Evans herself added that the two labels now have “a strong product proposition, clear brand DNA and winning teams.”

Reyndal also said that the incoming chief executive has already been “an instrumental member of the executive team and group board, contributing hugely to the success of Oasis and Warehouse. I am very pleased we have a smooth transition in place and it is a testament to our talent and culture that we have been able to promote internally. I am sure Hash will be a great success in leading the group and the board and I very much look forward to working with him”.

Ladha joined the business in 2010 as Group Multichannel Director and in 2012 was appointed Deputy MD of Oasis, then becoming COO of the two brands three years later.
