Camper launches new, more upscale brand

In September, the Spanish footwear company Camper (Camper, Casa Camper and Medwinds) will open a chain of upscale stores called Cartujano.

Encompassing shoes and accessories for both men and women, Cartujano is to start off with four stores in Paris, London, Madrid and Berlin.

Cartujano is, in fact, a relaunch. The line was first created in 1993 by the Fluxà family, which owns Camper, the difference being that it never had its own stores.
