Chanel takes on Singapore

After Saint-Tropez, the Antibes or the gardens at Château de Versaille last year, Chanel chose to change continents to present its 2013/2014 Resort collection. The show, which brought in 1200 guests, took place last weekend behind Dempsey Hill in Singapore. Among the famous faces in attendance were Dakota Fanning, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey and Zhou Xun, Chanel’s first Chinese ambassador. As for the press, Carine Roitfeld and newly-appointed head of Numéro Russia Andre Leon Talley were amongst the many international publishers present.

The event celebrated the first screening of “Once Upon A Time”, a short film directed by Karl Lagerfeld featuring Keira Knightly as Coco Chanel. The film, below, is in honour of the fashion house’s 100th anniversary.
