Christian Louboutin develops a capsule collection with Goop

The new collection will debut exclusively at Goop’s new Los Angeles store and online shop. The initial launch will also be followed by a children’s shoe in the fall.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s collection with Christian Louboutin will include three styles, a blue suede pump with a pom pom, a pair of heeled ankle boots, and a flat two-toned loafer.
 
The collaboration with Christian Louboutin will be available on Friday at Goop’s new, permanent Brentwood store, as well as Goop’s online store. Prices will range from $795 to $945.

Goop’s first permanent retail location is Goop Lab at the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles, where it has held multiple pop-up stores in the past. In addition to its new store, the lifestyle brand will also release the first issue of its new print magazine later this month. Published by Condé Nast, the magazine will retail for $15 and stars Paltrow as its first cover subject.
 
Paltrow founded Goop in 2008 as a lifestyle website. The website has faced serious criticism in recent months due to its unfounded health claims and recommendations. Earlier this year it also staged its first health summit in Los Angeles, where the brand staged panels and seminars on crystal reading and cleanses.
