Cosmoprof Asia announces new beauty awards for 2017

Innovative cosmetics from the Asia-Pacific region will be centerstage this November, with the launch of the inaugural 'Cosmoprof Awards'.

The awards, which will take place during the 2017 edition of the region's premier cosmetics exhibition, Cosmoprof Asia, will be divided into two groups -- the Innovation Circle Awards, which were first introduced last year, and the brand-new Beauty Circle Awards. The Innovation Circle Awards focus on formulation and packaging, while the Beauty Circle Awards will look at creativity and marketing strategies.

The Innovation Circle Awards will run under the theme of 'Nightscape', and will consist of six separate categories honoring makeup formula, skincare formula, skincare packaging and technology, makeup packaging and technology, packing design and a special jury award.

The Beauty Circle Awards will pick winners in six categories -- makeup product, skincare product, nail product, hair product, natural and organic, as well as the best beauty brand online.

Finalists for both categories will be announced on September 26, with winners of the Innovation Circle Awards announced on November 14 and winners of the Beauty Circle Awards named on November 15.

Cosmoprof Asia will run from November 14-17, 2017 -- at two venues, the AsiaWorld-Expo and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
