Around a year after the opening on June 30th, 2010 of its first ever monobrand store in France, located at the Val d’Europe shopping centre near Disneyland Paris, Crocs just opened the doors of its second boutique in the country on August 3rd. Covering an area of 85 square metres, the store can be found in the seaside town of Antibes, more precisely at 21 rue de la République.

"This is a clear sign of our investment and expansion plans for the French market. And we are not stopping there”, said Robin Akeroyd, managing director of Crocs Europe.

The American footwear brand recently published a record turnover of 207 million euros for the second quarter of 2011, up 30% in comparison to the same period last year. By reducing its costs, Crocs has benefited from a significant revenue growth and its operational profit went from 27 to more than 45 million euros.

In Europe, Crocs operates 78 franchise stores and 32 standalone ones. Its last quarterly report showed an impressive 50% increase and the brand turned over 36 million euros in sales. In France, Crocs is currently distributed via 940 multibrand stores.
