Curve wraps 10th anniversary in New York and Vegas

Eurovet Americas, producer of Curve, recently wrapped its Curve Las Vegas and Curve New York shows, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the company's intimates trade show.

Curve Las Vegas took place February 16-18 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in the midst of Project Womens. It was surrounded by athleisure and activewear sections. The theme was "bodyfashion," showing buyers the possibilities of how these body focused categories could cross over. Buyers were optimistic and showed an overall openness to the idea of bodyfashion.

Curve New York pulled additional crossover attendance from Coterie at the Javits Center, taking place February 27-March 1. Some 15% of attendees were registered for another show taking place at the same time. Curve New York saw over 600 buyer appointments pre-booked and an overall 6% increase in buyer attendance from last year's show.

Improvements with the digital experience, including a mobile app with a digital floor plan, helped buyers have a more efficient experience locating vendors and appointments.

In addition to traditional large scale intimates vendors such as Wacoal, Chantelle, Cosabella, Felina, and Hanky Panky, Curve also showcased a Just For You program designed to target specialty stores ordering on smaller scales.

As Just For You vendor Lingerie Le Chat explained, the highlight of the Just For You program is that "reorders don't require a minimum, and you can customize [the assortment you order] so you can have a unique version that is exclusively sold in your store."

To celebrate the decade of business, Curve held a 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner where all proceeds minus costs were donated to the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
 
Curve heads next to Paris July 8-10 followed by the fall edition of New York and Vegas in August, Moscow and Cannes in September, and Shanghai in October of 2017.
