He will be tasked with strengthening the Dune brand and unifying the company’s digital practices to maximise online sales, while ensuring a customer-centric approach.

He joins from Ralph Lauren, where he worked as senior director of marketing and e-commerce, and as senior VP, digital & e-commerce on an interim basis. During this time, he was responsible for business in 19 markets across the EMEA region.

Silsbury, who will be based at Dune's HQ in London and report to CEO John Egan, said he looks forward to joining the company.

“The opportunities are vast and while we already have some fantastic innovations in place such as a customer-facing single view of inventory across channels, I am confident that we can elevate our brands, develop a best-in-class digital strategy and offer a truly seamless experience for our customers across all channels”.

“Rob’s appointment comes at a very exciting time with our continued investment in marketing and the merger of the e-commerce and marketing teams into one collaborative department as key areas of focus,” said  Egan.

“Rob will help us find new ways to innovate in an aggressive and ever changing market and showcase our brands in the most exciting, new, and convenient ways possible.”
