Eloquii launches limited-edition capsule with Teresa Maccapani Missoni

Plus size e-commerce site Eloquii launched this week a new limited edition capsule collection with Teresa Maccapani Missoni. The 24-piece collection draws inspiration from Teresa’s personal wardrobe and travel adventures.

Teresa for Eloquii is comprised of embellished maxi skirts, shirtdresses, crop tops and lace peplum tops, featuring details such as lurex crochet, hand beading, sea shell motifs and embroidery inspired by Teresa’s travels in Africa, India and Sardinia.

The Missoni family member began designing at a very young age, creating special pieces for her personal wardrobe. Her design style and experiences undoubtedly had an influence on the collection that is designed for the passionate traveler and pays homage to eclecticism and romance. Prints are a leitmotif in the collection but Missoni steered clear of any zigzag stripes, the signature trademark of her family's fashion label, which is led by her mother Angela as creative director.

"I wanted to excite the ELOQUII customer with a collection that is unique yet timeless," said Teresa. "I feel strongly about giving this customer choices that stand apart from trends and that instill confidence."
 
Eloquii CEO Mariah Chase expressed excitement for the limited-edition collection. She said, “The partnership highlights our position as a fashion-first, design-driven brand for women sizes 12 and up."
 
Founded in 2011 by The Limited, Eloquii offers contemporary fast fashion for sizes 14 to 28. The New York and Columbus, OH-based company last year raised $15 million in Series B funding, which increased its total financing to $21 million.  Eloquii also recently partnered with Borderlinx to service shoppers outside of the US and Canada.
