Emma Shaw has been named director of design, Kate Brown has taken up the position of director of buying and quality, Nick Stevenson has been appointed director of merchandising and sourcing, and Paul Wright is the brand’s new director of e-commerce.

Shaw, Stevenson and Wright have been working at the British fashion company since 2011, while Kate Brown joined Fat Face in December 2014.

“I always think that internal promotions are a reflection of the talent in any organisation, and I am delighted for Emma, Kate, Nick and Paul. This announcement also reflects our determination to continue to invest in product and develop a truly multichannel business,” commented chief executive Anthony Thompson.

The company, which sells lifestyle clothing and accessories, said it had a “very strong” full-price summer trading period and that “it is clear that customers are responding well” to the continued investment in quality and design.

Its multi-channel strategy is also gathering pace with the upcoming launch of a new e-commerce platform, expected to take place 12 months earlier than originally planned.
