From the Paris runway: Hermès

First collection at Hermès by the new head of artistic direction discreet Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, who succeeds Christophe Lemaire.

A presentation that took place in the horse riders' wing of the Garde Républicaine, to be even closer to the roots of the famous saddler. Leather is omnipresent, sometimes combined with suede for striped effects on straight-cut trousers. The mink worn on sweat-shirts and on cropped jackets come in electric colors. The quilted leather on a little jacket makes reference to the equestrian world, like these pockets on several coats which represent the shape of a saddle. A first, elegant show, which puts the materials at the forefront. Luxury without fuss and self-control, which perfectly defines this chic and timeless Parisian house.

Worth a closer look: the various flat boots, heeled boots, and loops curving round the leg, and little graphic octagonal bags.
