H&M will show at Paris Fashion Week

Published

H&M will be putting its Autumn-Winter 2013/2014 collection on runway on 27th February, during Paris Fashion Week. The Swedish fast-fashion giant will be showing its collections at the Rodin Museum, like many big names before it, including Dior. Further details have yet to be released from the retailer, who has also just announced that Vanessa Paradis will be the face of its Conscious Collection.

The Versace for H&M runway show

It has been 8 years since H&M last held its own runway show, choosing to rather focus production efforts on highlighting its collaborative collections. Remember the Sonia Rykiel show at the Grand Palais or the Lanvin and Versace capsule collections that hit the runway in New York? Paris Fashion Week hasn’t had a high street intrusion since the Etam runway shows that took place at the Grand Palais during Haute Couture Fashion Week.

In London, Topshop, Whistles and River Island all present their collections at Fashion Week. In New York, Gap and J.Crew take part in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week while Mango and Desigual are used to showing at 080 Barcelona Fashion Week.
