H&M x Balmain: first clothing, now a fragrance

While fashion addicts around the world are still snapping up pieces from the Balmain x H&M clothing collection, the Swedish giant is about to unveil a new fragrant product of this collaboration which will be available on December 3.

The release of the capsule collection produced for H&M by Balmain, designed by its creative director Olivier Rousteing, was a major event in the fashion world this year. It was a resounding success across the globe from the first day of its launch on November 5.

This collaboration is set to continue at the beginning of December with the launch of the Balmain x H&M fragrance which will be available as a limited edition in selected stores.

This unisex fragrance, which was created with Interparfums, combines notes of tonka bean and jasmine. This is enriched by cedar and blond woods and base notes of musk and sandalwood.

This is not the first time that the Swedish brand has created a limited edition fragrance as part of a collaboration with a fashion designer. A scent was released in 2004 with Karl Lagerfeld, and another in 2008 with Comme des Garçons.

The Balmain x H&M fragrance will be available from December 3 in selected H&M Beauty stores. Price: €34.99.
