Hackett opens a store in Tokyo

On 31st March the brand owned by the Pepe Jeans group opened its first store in the Japanese capital. The store is located in the famous Ginza district. The opening is part of Hackett's strategy of growing the brand's store network in the world's major cities.

The store extends over 330 m² on two floors. It features the entirety of Hackett's range, from casual wear to formal clothes, including its children's line and the Aston Martin Racing, Army Polo and London Rowing Club collections.

In the course of the 2014-15 fiscal year, the label generated a revenue of €165 million, equivalent to an 8.7% growth year-on-year. Retail operations grew 10%, with openings in London, Lisbon, Amsterdam and Mexico. Hackett's wholesale business has benefited from the opening of franchised stores in India, China and South America.
