The accessories brand currently has a network of 84 exclusive brand outlets and 150 shop in shops and will continue to expand through these two retail channels.

Along with continuing to open brick and mortar stores, the brand recently redesigned its branding to appear more clean and modern. The brand has reported year on year growth of 20 percent and aims to finish this fiscal year (2018-2019) with a turnover of Rs 200 crore ($30 million). The brand also recently launched in Indonesia and has 12 store openings planned for the country.

Hidesign, which was founded in 1978 in Pondicherry, retails accessories such as handbags and leather goods and, as part of its travel accessories line, has just launched a collaborative collection with the French fashion designer José Levy.

The collection is called "Pondicherry Paris" and features suitcases, travel document bags, and other accessories.

“Hidesign is glad to collaborate with the ace French designer José Levy for its latest travel collection. Blending French aesthetics with our meticulous Craftsmanship, this collection is the perfect choice for you to travel chic,” wrote Hidesign on its social media.
