IMG Fashion names Andrew Serrano VP, Global Events

IMG announced on Tuesday that Andrew Serrano has been promoted to Vice President of Global Events. In this role, he will oversee the fashion week calendars for all IMG owned and operated events, and global designer relationships and partnerships.

 
Serrano previously served as Director of Global Public Relations for IMG, overseeing communications strategies for the company’s fashion events, digital campaigns, designer discovery platforms and initiatives. He also served as Public Relations Coordinator and Public Relations Manager at IMG.
 
Prior to joining the company, the Parsons graduate worked at People’s Revolution and was a regular on the Bravo reality television show 'Kell on Earth'.

The appointment follows IMG’s departure from Toronto Fashion Week. The company severed ties with the Canadian event in July 2016 after hosting the event for four years. Real estate mogul Peter Freed acquired the fashion week in the following December.
