Inditex appoints new members to supervisory boards

Retail company Inditex has named Antonio Abril and Ignacio Fernandez as new non-executive supervisory board members, to advise some of the group’s fashion companies such as Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Zara Home Spain, Oysho Spain, Pull & Bear and Zara.

Additionally, Francisco Losada and Jesus Oroza will join as counsels at Inditex’ Üterque, Stradivarius and Zara.

The Spanish fashion group recorded revenue of 2.02 billion euros in the first nine months of its fiscal year, from February 1 to October 31, up 20% on the same period the previous year.

Inditex is scheduled to present its yearly results on March 9, but it is forecasted to post a double-digit growth after recording a revenue jump of 26% in its first quarter.

Sales were up by 16% to 14.74 billion euros.
