Rodriguez has over 16 years of experience working in retail, having held key roles at Inditex, LVMH, Gucci and Michael Kors. Most recently, Intropia’s new CEO served as retail director for Spanish jewellery brand Apodemia.

Intropia, which is currently chasing growth beyond Europe, said Rodriguez's arrival signifies a strategic shift towards strengthening the brand and its retail business.

The label currently trades from over 1000 stores in over 40 countries. It is present in Europe with 17 standalone stores in Spain, 1 in London and 2 in Portugal, as well a concession stores in El Corte Inglés and Printemps.

The brand continues to grow its footprint elsewhere, with standalone stores in Mexico, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Abu Dhabi, Bahrein and South Korea. It is also present in countries such as Russia, China, Japan, Australia and Turkey, among others.

The collections are also available on an e-commerce site, which launched in 2012 and now delivers to 14 countries in Europe.
