Fashion label J Brand has revealed it is launching its first ready-to-wear collection this fall.

Designed with the young, urban male in mind, the collection aims to provide "a modern reinterpretation of the quintessential masculine wardrobe". Denim, the label's trademark fabric, features heavily throughout the range, which also includes a variety of basics.

The new pieces include cut and stitch T-shirts, shirts in faded and darker denim, and a modern version of the utility jacket. The collection also introduces a new stretch poplin fabric, slightly crumpled for a vintage but modern "worn" look, subtle camouflage patterns in aquatic dark blue tones, leather bomber jackets, faded tie-dye and dip-dye shirts to liven up everyday essentials.

The collection also offers a sporty and urban aesthetic, as well as featuring more luxurious basics such as handmade sweaters, leather jogging suits and comfy hoodies. Silhouettes are slim and modern throughout.

Since launching in 2008 with a collection of jeans for men, J Brand has enjoyed success and become known for its four flagship cuts, the Mick (skinny), the Tyler (slim), the Kane (straight) and the Cole (relaxed).

The new ready-to-wear menswear collection will be available from July 2015 in stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales & Neiman Marcus in the United States and Selfridges, Harrods & Harvey Nichols in the UK. Details for other outlets worldwide are yet to be released.
