After launching in the USA last October, French media group Jalou continues to invest on the American continent, and will publish its L'Officiel fashion magazine, now nearly one hundred years old, in Argentina from April 2018.

In Latin America, Jalou Media Group already publishes L'Officiel in Brazil and Mexico, and it is soon going to be available in the country famous for footballer Leo Messi. L'Officiel Argentina will first launch next March on L'Officiel's international website, followed by a Spanish-language print version with a run of 15,000 copies in April.

L'Officiel Argentina's editorial team will be led by Alex Milberg, until now the Chief Editor for Forbes in Argentina, while Ana Torrejón, formerly in charge of communications for Hermès in Argentina, has been appointed Chief Editor. She will produce part of the content for the magazine's 10 issues in the year, adding to them selected articles from L'Officiel's other international editions.

When the magazine's US edition was launched, in collaboration with Gem Group, with whom L'Officiel also set up an investment fund designed to back emerging luxury and lifestyle companies, L'Officiel's Argentinian edition was published together with Global Brands Media (GBM).

This is one more step in the internationalisation of L'Officiel, which now has 30 editions worldwide. L'Officiel, the signature publication of the Jalou Media group led by Benjamin Eymère, issued 65,582 copies per month in France in 2016/2017 (+4.35% over the previous year), according to French media auditing body ACPM.
