Kylie Cosmetics unveils Kim Kardashian West collection

Cult makeup brand Kylie Cosmetics revealed on Thursday its upcoming lipstick collection in collaboration with Kim Kardashian West, 'KKW by Kylie Cosmetics.'

The highly anticipated collection, which was previously teased via Snapchat and Instagram, is a collection of four creme lipsticks with a gloss finish. Based upon the reality star and media sensation's signature nude lip, the romantic and natural colour palette features hues of nude beige, coral, dusky pink and rose: Kimberley, Kim, Kiki, Kimmie.

Unlike previous collections and the matte lip duos the brand is known for, the KKW lipsticks come with a gloss finish, 'created to represent [Kim's] signature look,' and reflecting Kardashian West's preference for a creamy lip texture. The star's go-to makeup artist since 2008 and creative for the KKW campaign, Mario Dedivanovic, is also a fan of nude gloss, citing it as a staple of Kim's highly-replicated look.

The brand, launched in 2016 by Kylie Jenner, also debuted a multimedia campaign. Images were shot by NYC photographer and Parsons graduate Marcelo Cantu, the creative mind behind a blacklight shoot with Kylie Jenner that sparked controversy in 2015. KKW is the latest star-studded campaign for the photographer to add to his roster, having previously worked with Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Anastasia Beverly Hills.

The four lip cremes will be available on KylieCosmetics.com from April 25, 3pm PST.
