Lectra sees very good first half-year in 2016

Lectra, the global specialist in integrated technology solutions for fashion, has had a very good first half-year in 2016. Its revenue jumped 10% in comparable sales, reaching 126.3 million euros. The operating result rose 24% to 15.4 million euros, while net profits increased 18% to +10.7 million.

Lectra has recorded a strong increase in orders of new systems, from +20% in this first half-year compared to the first half-year of 2015: +8% for new software licenses, +27 % for CAD/CAM equipment, and +10% for training and associated services.

In addition, Lectra specified that it does not hold any debt but rather has a very solid financial structure. "The available liquid assets and the net liquid assets accumulate to 57.8 million euros," declares the financial press release.

The Paris-based company is confident for the entire current fiscal year. It expects an 8 to 11% growth in revenue for 2016 and an operating result of more than 9% on comparable data.
