MTV x Marc Jacobs capsule collection blends 80s street wear and luxury

The MTV x Marc Jacobs Resort capsule, inspired by MTV and glam rock can be pre-ordered from Friday August 26 to Tuesday August 30 on the Marc Jacobs website and in Marc Jacobs stores worldwide. The early release of select items in the collection coincides with MTV’s Video Music Awards, which aired on Sunday, August 28.

Items available for pre-order include sweatshirts, tees, sweatshirts made of cashmere and wool blends and totes emblazoned with the iconic MTV logo. Prices range from $150 for totes and tees to $1,400 for embroidered sweatshirts.
 
The full resort 2017 collection, to be released later this fall, features studded leather jackets, chokers, acid washed denim, puffed sleeved dresses, sweatshirts, tees and totes, and pays homage to 80s clubbing without sacrificing Marc Jacobs’ penchant for luxury fabrics and ornate embellishments.
