Madewell launches third annual Getaway Shop in stores and online

Madewell on Tuesday launched its third annual Getaway Shop, featuring brands Away, Soludos and Bikyni.

Getaway Shop is Madewell's one-stop, in-store and online destination that offers travel essentials for a warm-weather trip. This year, Getaway Shop features summer dresses, bags and sandals from Madewell, and collaboration pieces from Madewell and travel-friendly brands Away, Soludos and Bikyni.

 
Travel brand Away produced a carry-on suitcase for Getaway Shop, Soludos produced two exclusive espadrille styles and Bikyni made three swim sets. The shop also carries pieces from Mara Hoffman, Pale and Tavik.
 
“Our goal was to create one place where our customer can find everything she needs for a summer vacation,” said Madewell head designer Joyce Lee. “To do that, my team and I chose the pieces from our collection we’d want to take with us on a trip, and then we looked for brands that best complimented our products to round out the list. The Getaway Shop has everything you need to pack the perfect suitcase—doesn’t matter if your plans involve hanging out on the beach or exploring a new city.”

In addition to offering travel and vacation items, the four brands partnered with Bunkhouse’s Hotel San Cristóbal to give customers the opportunity to win a five-night trip or up to $4,000 for a shopping spree.
