Maison Kitsuné is now into footwear

Maison Kitsuné's wardrobe now includes footwear. The label's first shoe line will be available from 2nd May on Maison Kitsuné's e-shop and in all its physical stores, and will consist of 4 models.

The line is manufactured in Italian leather and will feature initially a pair of men's boots, one of ladies' booties and one of high-heeled court shoes, all of them in black.

In addition, it will include a pair of unisex two-tone moccasins, in black and sky blue, stone and beige, and chambray and beige. The palette will change with the seasons.

The shoes will be priced from €380, and have been showcased in a series of pictures by Chinese photographer Ren Hang.

The artist is well-known for his nude pictures, notably taken using a film camera. After exhibiting in certain Chinese art galleries, his work was censured by Chinese police.  In 2014 he exhibited in Paris at the Galerie Nue and the Galerie 104.
