Miu Miu and MyTheresa launch capsule collection

The Munich-based luxury online retailer MyTheresa and Prada sub-brand Miu Miu are releasing a short film on Wednesday, April 26th. The two-minute video entitled "Shark" presents two women, at turns dreamy and fearful, acting out a personal mini-drama in a public swimming pool, and of course, wearing the exclusive Miu Miu x mytheresa.com capsule collection for spring / summer 2017.

The short was filmed at the Camberwell Pool in London. Mytheresa.com once again tapped director, writer and Central Saint Martin's graduate Danny Sangra for the production, marking its third collaboration with the creative. Unlike previous productions, the fashion film mixes style and humor together with a slightly more theatrical attitude and a downright surreal mood.

The film's two female leads sport various outfits from the capsule, which comprises some 28 items of clothing, bags and shoes.

Already running on youtube, "Shark" will make its debut on April 26 on the mytheresa.com website. Additional Shark-related editorial content will also be viewable on the e-shop where the capsule items will be available for direct purchase.
