When the Puig group appointed Julien Dossena as Creative Director of Paco Rabanne, its vision was of infusing a lifestyle twist into the label. Just over three years later, Paco Rabanne has reached another milestone consistent with this vision, by launching Bodyline, a women’s underwear/ sportswear range, complementary to Paco Rabanne's ready-to-wear collection, and fitting perfectly with the avant-garde athleisure approach adopted by the label in the last few seasons.

In the Spring/Summer 2016 Paco Rabanne tested a bandeau bra-underpants combo available in one colour, white, with the label's logo visibly printed on the elastic waistband. The outcome was positive and has spawned a fully fledged line for Spring/Summer 2017, consisting of seven models and featuring leggings, legging shorts, underpants, bras, bandeau bras and crop tops, available in four colours.

Bodyline is more than simple underwear, and according to Paco Rabanne it can be worn as a total-look outfit or combined with ready-to-wear items. It will be a permanent line, to which the label will add new styles and more colours in future seasons.

Bodyline's streetwear look will be promoted initially in Paris, with a massive poster campaign from the end of January, and the line will be available, at prices ranging between €65 and €190, both at the Paco Rabanne Paris store in Rue Cambon and at the label's e-store.
