Schneider joined Delta Galil in October 2016 after parting ways with American Apparel in the same month. As CEO, she oversaw Delta Galil’s Premium Brands business that includes 7 For All Mankind, Ella Moss and Splendid. Delta acquired the three brands from VF Corporation.

Prior to joining Delta Galil, Schneider served as CEO of American Apparel for less than 2 years. She joined the company shortly after it filed for bankruptcy, and was tasked with turning the business around. Her resignation letter explained that American Apparel’s pending sale prohibited her from carrying out her plan for the company. Gildan acquired American Apparel after Schneider jumped to Delta Galil.

The industry veteran also served at BCBG, Laundry by Shelly Segal and Warnaco Swimwear Group.

Delta Galil reported this year a 9% increase in fiscal 2016 sales to $1,179.2 million and record operating profit of $85.3 million. The company also sold its Junkfood Clothing t-shirt business in April and announced a five-year licensing agreement with Calvin Klein for innerwear.
