Under the new deal, Arnold Wills is set to manufacture a range of accessories including bags, luggage, small leather goods, belts, hip flasks, water bottles, mugs, braces, umbrellas, stationery, manicure kits, cufflinks, tie bars and lapel pins for Perry Ellis’ youth-oriented menswear label.

“We look forward to working with the Arnold Wills Group and align our teams, which bring years of experience, to deliver high fashion classics and coveted pieces under our heritage rich Farah brand,” said Perry Ellis President and CEO Oscar Feldenkreis in a release, going on to explain, “Farah is a key building block in our strategy for growth and expansion.”

Farah aims to combine a heritage aesthetic with a street feel and is distributed internationally through company-owned stores and other major retailers, as well as online through a branded website. Earlier this year, Perry Ellis International also signed an eyewear license for the brand with Inspecs Group.

“We are delighted to add Farah to our portfolio of brands.  We find the heritage of the brand and its resonance with today’s fashion conscious youth to be especially appealing. We look forward to leveraging the equity and momentum of the Farah brand and to joining the Perry Ellis family,” stated Phil Ash, managing director of Arnold Wills.

Arnold Wills and Company was founded in the UK in 1946 and is a leading designer and manufacturer of fashion accessories. The company has an annual turnover of over £20 million and is one of the country’s biggest suppliers whose customers include Asos, Marks & Spencer's, Topman and Next.

The deal is the latest in a series of licensing agreements that Perry Ellis International has signed for its brands since the beginning of the year. Other licenses have focused on global expansion, particularly in South Korea and Latin America, but also, more recently, North Africa.

No date was provided for the launch of the new line of accessories which will be available in department stores and online.
