Perry Ellis enters watch license for namesake label in Asia

Perry Ellis announced on Tuesday a new watch license agreement with Optimo Group Limited.
 
As per the agreement, Optimo will design and distribute men’s, women’s and children’s watches under the Perry Ellis trademark in Greater China, Japan, Korea, India and throughout ASEAN. The watch collections will be distributed in department stores, jewelers, watch specialty stores, fashion boutiques and e-commerce websites.

 
Perry Ellis entered into new accessories and swim licenses to start the year. In January, the company entered a men’s accessories license with Euroneck for the Perry Ellis and John Hardy brands in Mexico, and with Morel for men’s and women’s luggage, travel bags and backpacks for the Perry Ellis brand in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
 
Also in January, Perry Ellis entered into a distribution deal for Nike Swim apparel and accessories in Latin America.

The Perry Ellis partnerships and licenses business grew 6% in the third quarter.
