Peuterey has strengthened its management team, as part of its repositioning effort begun at the start of the year after the arrival at the helm of Francesco Pesci. The Italian sportswear brand has announced the appointment of Fabio Piazza as CEO for Asia-Pacific.

The Italian manager has ten years of experience in the luxury goods sector, and he notably worked in the Asia-Pacific region for brands such as Dirk Bikkembergs and Giorgio Armani.

In February last year, the company which specialises in down jackets and is chaired by Francesca Lusini, created the post of CEO, which was entrusted to the former boss of Brioni, Francesco Pesci. In his wake, Alice Carli was also recruited, as worldwide Marketing and Communications Director. This too was a specifically-created post, and a sizeable part of the management team has been renewed.

Recently the group recruited Alessandro Giardino as Head of Global Sales. He was formerly in charge of the worldwide wholesale and retail development of Hugo Boss and MCS Marlboro Classics.

Peuterey also hired Chiara Pugassi as Head of Sales for Italy. Among others, she formerly worked for Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and Emporio Armani.

Peuterey also recently presented its first menswear collection in Milan, unveiling the Peuterey Studio premium line, designed by its brand-new Creative Director, Federico Curradi.
