Published
Dec 16, 2015

Nick Wooster has teamed with Pringle of Scotland for their Fall-Winter 2016 Menswear Collection. Focusing on the the brand’s iconic knitwear, Wooster offers up a fresh take on Pringle of Scotland's iconic staple by merging knitting and weaving details on certain tartan and cable pieces. He also introduces on-trend ‘distressed style' elements on “Made in Scotland” separates.

The full menswear Fall 2016 Collection will launch in January 2016 at London Collections Men. Massimo Nicosia, Pringle of Scotland design director, is enthusiastic about the collaboration, saying, “Working with Nick Wooster on a men’s wardrobe based around knitwear has been an exciting experience. Through his trained eye and the passion we share for clothes, we identified Pringle of Scotland key styles and essential staples.”

Nick Wooster echoed Nicosia's enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “I’m super excited to collaborate with Massimo Nicosia and the talented team at Pringle of Scotland. The depth of knowledge and passion for all things knitwear, coupled with the experts in Scotland, make this collaboration a labor of love and a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Pringle of Scotland, founded in 1815 by Robert Pringle, is renowned for creating the class twinset and signature argyle pattern. The brand is recognized as one of the first luxury knitwear manufacturers in the world. The company expanded throughout Europe, the United States and Asia during the 19th and 20th centuries. The brand continues to focus on quality, style, authenticity and innovation, principles identified by Robert Pringle 200 years ago.

Nickelson (Nick) Wooster, based in New York City, has worked as a consultant with leading designers and retailers in the fashion industry for over 30 years. Wooster has lended his fashion expertise to Calvin Klein, Barneys New York, Ralph Lauren, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, where he served as Men’s Fashion director until 2011.
