Pull&Bear, the young fashion brand owned by Inditex, is joining the sustainability movement with a collection of clothing that respects the environment as part of the Join Life initiative, which has been also rolled out across other Inditex brands. Zara was the first brand to launch an eco-friendly collection, followed by Massimo Dutti, Bershka and most recently Oysho.

The brand has launched a 'Join Life' collection - Pull&Bear

The capsule collection comprises pieces for men and women, made from two eco-conscious materials, organic cotton and Tencel. The former is grown without using fertilisers or pesticides and its production consumes 90% less water than non-organic cotton. Meanwhile, Tencel is derived from wood grown in sustainably-managed forests.

The launch of this collection is another step in the eco-conscious strategy and philosophy that is becoming ever more prevalent at the company. Its physical stores are being refurbished with the aim of making them eco-efficient by 2020 and its headquarters in Naron, Galicia, have been recognised with a Leed Oro certification for its environmental efficiency.

Pull&Bear has a store estate of over 970 physical sores worldwide, and a presence in 76 markets. The Inditex brand reported 1.74 billion euros in revenue last year, representing a 12% increase over the previous year.
