Rapper Tinie Tempah to host fashion show in January

British rapper Tinie Tempah is set to host his first fashion show for his brand Disturbing London in January 2017, according to a UK newspaper report.

Tempah was named menswear ambassador for London Fashion Week Men’s in June 2015 and launched his fashion label Disturbing London in 2012.

“I don’t want to say too much but in January there is something special that will be happening in regards to myself and clothing,” said the music superstar to the Evening Standard.

“I just want to take some of the influence of things I’ve seen not only in Italy but when I’ve gone to Victoria’s Secret shows, just incorporating everything into one exciting show. It will happen in the second week of January. So look out for it - it will be very fun.”

Tempah is a regular at London Fashion Week and was named GQ 's Best Dressed of 2012.

This will be the first time he stages a show for his label, which features a marked streetwear feel and urban influences.

The brand is also collaborating with vaping company Vype on a clothing collection which will go on display at several pop-ups in Manchester, Glasgow and London. The range will include three t-shirt designs inspired by the new vaping product, Pebble.
