Repossi debuts at Bergdorf Goodman

Italian-based fine jewelry brand Repossi will now be sold at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.

To celebrate the launch, Bergdorf's held an exclusive high jewelry event on September 13th where an intimate group of guests could preview the jewels at the Fifth Avenue store while sipping champagne. After the event, guests attended a private dinner at BG Restaurant.

Guests included Aerin Lauder, Hamish Bowles and Gabriela Hearst among others.

Repossi was founded in Turin in 1920. It is well known for its Berber collection as well as multi-piercing earrings. Gaia Repossi is the fourth generation in the family business that was started by her grandfather, Alberto Repossi. Gaia has served as the brand's Artistic and Creative Director since 2007.

Gaia Repossi said of the new distribution partnership, "I see Bergdorf Goodman as the epitome of American elegance..." She added, "To me, real elegance is about being discreet."

Regarding her inspiration and design direction, she said, "To me, today’s Repossi woman is anchored in a reality where non-traditional jewelry appeals to her because it is realistic and at the same time, the jewelry is out of this world!"

Repossi fine jewelry will now be available in the Jewelry Salon on the main level of Bergdorf's iconic Fifth Ave store in New York.
