Tiffany & Co. to open first New Zealand store

Tiffany & Co. revealed it will open its first flagship store in New Zealand, setting up shop in the city of Auckland.

The renowned American jeweller has chosen the historic ‘Australis House’ as its place of residency. The ornate building was only recently refurbished as a part of  Auckland’s ‘Britomart Redevelopment Programme’.

Located on 36-38 Customs Street, the flagship will face the recognised Takutai Square and Waitemata Harbour in Auckland’s premier shopping location Britmart. Tiffany's will occupy the entire ground floor.

“The opening of our first store in New Zealand will be a momentous occasion and one we have been looking forward to for a long time. We are excited to share our magnificent jewellery designs in such a special location in Auckland” said Glen Schlehuber, vice president and managing director of Tiffany & Co. Oceania.

The Tiffany & Co. Auckland store will open in the first week of November 2016.
