Ugg and Alexa Chung partner for Classic boot campaign

Ugg announced on Friday its first-ever creative brand partnership with Alexa Chung in honor of the California-based brand’s Classic boot and the launch of the Classic II boot.

Chung served as Art Director for the launch campaign that was shot by photographer Ben Rayner and styled by Stella Greenspan. The campaign was set in New York City and consists of a series of portraits of women in the creative industry such as Cleo Wade and Anna Z Grey.
 
“I’ve always appreciated classic items of clothing, and always been drawn to things that have a perennial appeal, and I would say the UGG Classic boot possesses that quality,” said Chung. “I loved art directing for UGG as it gave me the opportunity to work alongside and marry together some of the people in my life I find most inspiring with a team of talented pals to capture both their spirit and the easy going nature of the brand.”

The new Ugg campaign follows the brand’s Classic Street campaign with Hailey Baldwin and men’s campaign with brand ambassador and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and actor Jeff Bridges. Ugg also recently launched collaboration footwear with Teva and debuted a collaboration with Preen by Thornton Bregazzi that will launch in stores and online in February 2017.
