Urban Outfitters: Tedford Marlow stepping down from CEO position

Tedford Marlow, the current CEO of Urban Outfitters, will be retiring at the end of this coming August. The announcement was made by Richard A. Hayne, president of the Urban Outfitters group (Urban Outfitters, Free People, Anthropologie…), at the publication of its quarterly results.

From 2001 to 2010, Ted Marlow served as President of Urban Brand Worldwide. Even though he was already retired, he was called back at the beginning of 2012 to take on the role of CEO of the Urban Outfitters division, left vacant by Glen Senk.
