VF Corporation names Travis Campbell President of Smartwool

VF Corporation on Thursday announced the appointment of Travis Campbell to Brand President of Smartwool, effective January 30, 2017.
 

Campbell joins VF Corp. from Far Bank Enterprises where he served as President and CEO. He also served as President and CEO of Sage Manufacturing, Rio Products International, and Redington Tackle & Apparel, which are all owned by Far Bank Enterprises.
 
“Travis’ leadership skills, business acumen and commitment to the outdoors make him well-positioned to lead the Smartwool brand and grow its premium market position,” said Scott Baxter, Vice President, VF Corporation and Group President Outdoor & Action Sports Americas. “His 16 years of outdoor industry experience will be a value-creating asset to the brand and we look forward to having him join the Smartwool and VF teams.”

Smartwool is a 22-year-old apparel brand based in Colorado that offers products inspired by living and playing in the mountains. The brand is one of many under VF Corporation alongside The North Face, Vans, Timberland, Nautica, Wrangler and Lee.
