Woolrich John Rich & Bros. is discreetly appealing to the Japanese market for Autumn-Winter 2016-17. The brand originated in Italy from the upmarket fashion licence of US outdoor label Woolrich, and is now offering a capsule collection targeted to the land of the rising sun, called 'Made in Japan'.

The collection was developed with designer Shinsuke Kojima, head of the Kaptain Sunshine brand since 2013. Kojima's own work led him to delve in US vintage outdoor and military apparel, and the collection's style relies on these identifying elements.

The brand and the designer highlighted the use of materials such Suprima cotton, Super 100 flannel, Shetland wool and Harris TweedXVentile fabric.

The collection will be available on the Japanese market and also in the Woolrich John Rich & Bros. store network.

Another novelty presented by Woolrich John Rich & Bros. for next winter is the fur-less version of its Arctic Parka. Until now, this iconic item was manufactured using authentic fur. The brand is now offering an alternative, while making absolutely sure that it guarantees the same protective features as before.

The brand is managed by ambitious Italian group WP Lavori in Corso, currently operating about twenty stores worldwide, including a Tokyo flagship store and shops in New York, Munich and Gothenburg, Sweden.
