Zalora Vietnam, Robins merge as mega online store

Zalora Vietmam and Robins have joined to become one online platform, Robins.vn, in a bid by Central Group Vietnam to dominate the local e-commerce fashion and beauty market.

Zalora now carries the Robins name, according to Vietnamese media reports, forming the website Robins.vn.

Zalora told reporters that its core activities would remain that of a leading online shopping platform through a current list of fashion brands, attractive promotions and professional customer service team.

In April 2016, Zalora Vietnam was sold by Rocket Internet and bought by Thailand’s Central Group, who acquired both Zalora Vietnam and Thailand subsidiaries.

Zalora is the largest fashion shopping website in Vietnam, offering collections from more than 700 well-known fashion brands. After five years in Vietmam, it has been recognised as a market leader offering local shoppers al stylist team, excellent customer service and attractive promotion programs from a variety of brands. 

Robins chain stores, with nearly 200 brands in seven different categories, is a popular shopping destination in Vietnam's Ha Noi and HCM City.
