Zara to launch in Michigan at Somerset Collection

Spanish fashion brand Zara is to open a massive two-level store at Somerset Collection in Metro Detroit, Troy, Michigan next year.

The 30,000-square-feet store will be its first outpost in Michigan and will showcase the brand’s trend-led collections for men, women and children as well as accessories.

With 75 stores in the US, and over 2,100 around the globe, Zara is one of the largest fashion retailers offering catwalk-inspired designs that are both affordable and wearable.

In the past year the brand has opened several stores in the US, including stores in suburban Cleveland and suburban Baltimore, as well as a recent launch at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The Somerset branch will be adjacent to Macy’s and will accessible from the first and second floors of the mall. It is expected to open for the winter holidays next year, adding to a roster of brands that also includes Abercrombie, Banana Republic, Burberry, Gucci, Guess, Kate Spade and Tory Burch.
