MILAN, May 26 (Reuters) - Italy's Mediobanca (MDBI.MI) and Sinergetica have been nominated advisors for the restructuring plan of troubled fashion fashion IT Holding (ITH.MI), commissioners overlooking the process said.

IT Holding, which owns top Milan fashion brand Gianfranco Ferre as well as Malo, was placed under special administration earlier this year.

It is in the hands of three special administrators -- appointed by the industry ministry in February -- who have six months to draw up a plan for the group.

Speaking on the sidelines of a press conference on Tuesday 26 May, the commissioners told reporters it was still too early to say what the outcome of the plan would be.

"At the moment any hypothesis is premature, we are still working on the programme on the future of IT Holding which could foresee a restructuring, a sale or a mix of the two," said Roberto Spada, one of the commissioners.
