Alexa Chung stars as picture-perfect Parisian in Longchamp’s spring campaign

French leather goods brand Longchamp has once again chosen British model and it-girl Alexa Chung as the face of its spring 2016 campaign, shot by the eminent German photographer Peter Lindbergh.

Longchamp's spring 2016 campaign brings together two fashion icons -- one from the world of modelling and the other from photography -- working together for the first time on a shoot in the iconic setting of Paris, home of the French luxury brand.

Photographer Peter Lindbergh is best known for his work with the various editions of Vogue magazine. Here, he has captured the fresh-faced cool and timeless elegance of Alexa Chung in a new campaign for Longchamp, which sees the British model styled as a picture-perfect Parisian.

Alexa Chung can be seen strolling through the arcades of Paris's Palais Royal in a lambskin trench coat -- one of the flagship pieces in this season's ready-to-wear collection -- and clutching a Pénélope bag, another emblematic piece. Another shot sees Chung in the Tuileries garden in a two-tone dress accessorized with an electric blue Pénélope bag.

The campaign video accompanying Peter Lindbergh's photos was released on www.longchamp.com and social networks on January 11.
