Haute Couture Week has just ended and Paris is already looking ahead to the next Fashion Week in February-March. According to the provisional calendar published on January 21 by the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Féminine, the Parisian women's ready-to-wear week for autumn-winter 2023/24 will be held from February 27 to March 7, bringing together 106 houses. On the programme are 67 shows, including Dundas and Palm Angels for the first time, and 40 presentations.

Among this season's newcomers to the Parisian calendar is the house of Schiaparelli, headed by Daniel Roseberry, which shows during Haute Couture and has already presented its "prêt-à-couture" collections, as it calls them, during Women's Fashion Week. The show is scheduled for March 2. Also announced is Avellano, closing on March 7. The brand created by latex specialist Arthur Avellano, usually shows during the Men's Week.

Also worth mentioning are two new names arriving on the Parisian scene. Palm Angels, the Italian luxury streetwear label, owned by Farfetch via New Guards Group and led by Francesco Ragazzi, and Dundas, the English brand launched in 2017 by Norwegian designer Peter Dundas, which was invited to Haute Couture in July 2018 and is returning to Paris, this time to the ready-to-wear schedule. They will show on March 5 and 6 respectively.

Among the houses returning to the Women's Paris Fashion Week this season are Alexander McQueen, Pierre Cardin, Paco Rabanne, Y/Project and Nina Ricci, which will unveil its first collection with its new creative director Harris Reed on March 3. Ann Demeulemeester will be presenting, on March 4, its collection by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. It will be the designer's first season as creative director of the brand.

New entrants are also expected in the presentation programme. These include Chinese label Chenpeng, English designer Margaret Howell, the Italian Niccolò Pasqualetti and the Irish Róisín Pierce.
