Billie Eilish, David Beckham, Harry Styles top fashion influencer lists

David Beckham is holding on to his status as one of the world’s top fashion influencers even though younger celebrities such as Harry Styles are also making a huge impact now. And for women, Billie Eilish is top of a new ranking.

Luxury cashmere company N Peal has looked at search data relating to celebrity style, selecting hundreds of celebs known for their style and analysing search activity in 11 countries (the UK, Spain, US, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden).

It found that globally during this year, Harry Styles has been the male celebrity who style has been searched for the most with the pop-star-turned-model-and-entrepreneur featuring in the top 10s of all 11 countries. 

In second place is ASAP Rocky, ahead of David Beckham who’s been topping style influencer lists for several decades now. Next are Ryan Reynolds, Chris Brown, Ryan Gosling, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Craig.

As mentioned, Billie Eilish is top female fashion celeb and is in the top 10 for almost all of the countries with only Ireland ranking her lower down.

In second place, Hailey Bieber comes much higher than her husband Justin did in the men’s list, while Kendall Jenner is third, making her the highest-ranked member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

However, her sister Kim isn’t far behind in fourth place, ahead of Ariana Grande, Emma Chamberlain, Rihanna, Léa Seydoux, Kaia Gerber and Bella Hadid. The latter makes it into the top 10 even though her sister Gigi doesn’t. Bella appears in the top 10s of five different countries while Gigi is only in two.

For the UK specifically, David Beckham is top, just ahead of Harry Styles, while Ryan Gosling is third ahead of ASAP Rocky. Next come Daniel Craig, Ryan Reynolds, Roberto Mancini, Jason Statham, Justin Bieber and Timothee Chalamet.

Billie Eilish tops the women’s ranking here too, with Hailey Bieber, Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid all in the top five. The rest of the top 10 include Kylie Jenner (clearly more popular in Britain than her sister Kim), Rihanna, Madison Beer, Selena Gomez and Zendaya.
