Bread & Butter files for insolvency

The worry was hanging in the air but the reality has been confirmed. After the cancellation of its January 2015 edition, Karl-Heinz Müller, co-founder of the landmark trade fair of the aughts, visited the Commercial Court. The company filed for insolvency on Tuesday.

A decision that also affects the concept stores 14 oz. and the stores in partnership with Nudie Jeans and Edwin.

In the press release, Karl-Heinz Müller nevertheless specifies that the retail activities continue. He is even working on an alternative concept for January, simply called Bread & Butter- Back to the street.

"I met with a team of specialists who are extremely motivated to continue the adventure. That is why my team and I are going to support this company, a symbol of Berlin, as best as possible," stated the Insolvency Practitioner.
